Weekly wrap up

Holy Busy Week Batman! I teach group ex classes and this week was launch for many of the formats I teach so I've been busy! But all is well and I'm happy to report all my classes went off without a hitch. I've been putting in a lot of time at my son's school volunteering. This week I got to go in and help them make a snowman out of marshmallows, do lunch duty for the small kids and help organize the library. So it's been a good week.

Today T. had his first kindergarten playdate. He picked a little girl from his class and they seemed to have fun! You could tell they were both only children b/c they both just wanted to hang out with my husband and me! LOL But I pulled out the science geek inside of myself and we made volcanoes and science experiments and had a pretty damn good time (even the 34 year old).

The highlight of my week was last night. Every night I go into T's room and kiss him and say "I love you" in his ear before I go to bed. He is always sound asleep when I do this but somehow he found out about it. He was upset and vowed he'd stay awake so he could hear me. I assured him it was ok, he didn't need to do that so every morning he would ask me "did you tell me you loved me last night" and every time I'd assure him "yes". Last night I went to his room and pulled the covers over him and kissed his perfect little cheeks and and whispered "i love you" as i stroked his blonde hair. As I walked over the other side of the bed to pick up a blanket, he sat up straight, not knowing I was still in the room he called out into the darkness "I finally heard you mommy", smiled and went back to his sleeping angel position. I love kid.
